Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026
1. No legal entity yet
Feegap is a reconciliation tool operated by an individual developer. No company, legal entity, or jurisdiction has been registered yet. These terms are a placeholder until the operator establishes a legal entity. Before these terms bind anyone, the operator must supply the entity name, address, and governing jurisdiction. You are agreeing to these terms as a statement of intent, not as a contract enforceable under a specific jurisdiction.
2. The service
Feegap compares a payment processor's payout report CSV against a merchant's order export CSV and computes the difference. The tool performs arithmetic against the published fee schedule and the uploaded data. It does not make predictions, accusations, or recommendations. Every figure shown is derivable from the uploaded rows.
3. User responsibilities
You represent that:
- The data you upload belongs to you or you have lawful authority to process it.
- You will not upload files containing personal data of individuals other than yourself without appropriate consent or lawful basis.
- You will not use this tool to reverse-engineer, misrepresent, or make legal claims against your payment processor based solely on the tool's output.
4. Accuracy and limitations
The tool computes arithmetic against a published fee schedule. It is accurate to the extent the fee schedule and your uploaded files are accurate. The following limitations apply:
- Only the Stripe US standard fee schedule (2.9% + $0.30) is currently implemented.
- Orders not found in the payout report are labelled as not found — they may belong to a later payout period.
- If a row cannot be parsed, it is reported as unparsed with the row number and column named. It is never silently omitted from the total.
5. Billing
What you are buying. A Paid subscription to Feegap grants access to stored reconciliation results, larger file capacity (6,000 rows, 5 MB per file), and reconciliation history view. The Free tier is available without payment.
Price. Paid tier: $9 per month, billed monthly in advance. Free tier: $0.
Payment method. Payment is processed through Stripe. By subscribing to the Paid tier, you authorise Stripe to charge your chosen payment method at the start of each billing period. You must provide a valid payment method to maintain access to paid features.
Failed payments. If a payment fails (card declined, expired, or insufficient funds), access to paid features will be suspended. Stripe will automatically retry the charge up to 3 times over the following 5 days. If payment has still not been collected after the retry period, your subscription will be cancelled and paid features will no longer be available. Stored reconciliation results will be retained for 30 days after cancellation to give you time to export your data.
Refunds. Because the service is billed monthly and you can evaluate the Free tier before subscribing, refunds are not offered. If you cancel your subscription, paid features remain accessible until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are given for unused days within a billing period.
Price changes. The $9/month price may change. If the price increases, existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
Test-mode notice. Stripe is connected in test mode. The checkout on the Pricing page accepts test card numbers only. No real card will be charged. Subscribers will be notified before any live charges begin.
6. No warranty
The tool is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The operator disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The entire risk arising from use of the tool remains with you.
7. Limitation of liability
In no event shall the operator be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of the tool. The reconciliation output is informational and should not be the sole basis for financial decisions, disputes, or legal action.
8. Data handling
Uploaded CSV files are parsed in memory and immediately discarded. No uploaded data is written to storage. The paid tier stores only the reconciliation result JSON in a database for later retrieval via a unique, unguessable URL. See the Privacy Policy for details.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The operator will make a best effort to notify users of material changes.
10. Contact
Email support is planned — coming soon. There is no mailbox configured for this business yet. A contact address will be announced when the app launches and mail can actually be received. Please include the product name (Feegap) and a brief description of your issue so we can route it correctly.
